Beware of Fraudulent Mails

In the recent days there is lot of fraudulent mails filling the inbox. In that very dangerous one is asking your bank details to fool the user. Here I pasted the same screen shot of one such email I got in my mailbox.

phising

If you look into this e-mail, it looks like the genuine one and tempt the user to click on this mail to update the details. When the user clicks the link, it actually redirect to the hackers website without knowing that user will enter all the details.  Why I am writing this post it, when ever you get this kind of mails, please be careful on clicking the link. You can take the look on following things :

1)Check the from address. Most of the time the from  address will be real one because it is easy to forge the from address.

2)Check the url after clicking the link. Here they cannot forge, if it is other than the trusted source, please close the browser.

I hope this post will be useful. If you come across any such emails, please post it in the comments section.
