Query on LIC Policy

In this post I am answering one of the query I received through Ask Your Questions.

Question:-

I have been holding a LIC policy since 2001. I will be migrating to USA from the next year. Can I continue the LIC policy in abroad?

Answer:-

Yes. You can continue the policy when you are outside India. You can either send the premium from abroad or using the Indian bank. Also you can use the online premium payment.

The sums payable under the policy on maturity or death will, however, be paid in Indian rupees, in India.
